Landing Page

Definition

A web page designed for a specific purpose, typically to capture leads or drive sales.

A landing page is a standalone web page created for a marketing or advertising campaign. Unlike a regular website page, it has a single, focused objective. This objective is usually to encourage visitors to take a specific action, such as filling out a form, making a purchase, or downloading a resource.

For instance, a company might create a landing page for a new e-book, where visitors can download it after providing their email address.

Landing pages are most commonly found in digital marketing, particularly in areas like search engine marketing (SEM), email marketing, and social media advertising.
