A 15-year-old girl succumbed to multiple stab wounds on Monday, May 27, 2024, a day after she was attacked in a narrow lane in the Seemapuri area of Northeast Delhi. Muskan's mother, Tabassum, stated she was home when she heard screams. Upon rushing out, she discovered her daughter bleeding profusely from several wounds. She informed investigators that she had previously seen the suspected accused near their house on one occasion.

Family members immediately attempted to staunch the bleeding. They initially transported Muskan on a two-wheeler before transferring her to a relative's car to reach GTB Hospital. A neighbor reported hearing a scream and witnessing Muskan collapse in the lane.
