AHMEDABAD – The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) has announced the release of its Class 10th (SSC) examination results for the academic year 2025-2026. For the first time, students can access their official scorecards and passing certificates immediately through DigiLocker, the government's secure digital document wallet. This initiative aims to provide students with prompt and authenticated access to their crucial academic records following the conclusion of the 2026 examinations.

This digital availability marks a significant step towards streamlining the distribution of academic documents, reducing the traditional waiting period for physical mark sheets. DigiLocker, a cloud-based platform operated by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India, serves as a secure repository for official documents. It enables citizens to store and access various government-issued documents digitally, ensuring their authenticity and reducing the need for physical copies. The integration of GSEB SSC results with DigiLocker provides a reliable and legally valid method for students to retrieve their results.

The immediate access to scorecards on DigiLocker offers several benefits to students. It eliminates potential delays associated with postal delivery of physical mark sheets and provides a universally accepted digital format that can be used for further admissions, scholarship applications, or employment opportunities. Each document issued through DigiLocker carries a digital signature, ensuring its integrity and authenticity, making it equivalent to its physical counterpart as per the IT Act, 2000. Students can download and save their mark sheets and provisional passing certificates directly to their personal DigiLocker accounts, accessible from anywhere with an internet connection.

To access their GSEB SSC 2026 results via DigiLocker, students must follow a precise procedure:

  • Visit DigiLocker Platform: Navigate to the official DigiLocker website (digilocker.gov.in) or download the DigiLocker mobile application.
  • Account Access: Log in using their existing DigiLocker credentials. New users must register by providing their Aadhaar number and linking it with a registered mobile number.
  • Navigate to Education Section: On the dashboard, locate and select the 'Education' category, then search for 'Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB)'.
  • Select Document Type: Choose 'Class X Mark Sheet' or 'SSC Passing Certificate' for the academic year 2026.
  • Enter Credentials: Input their GSEB Class 10th roll number, seat number, and any other required details as per their admit card.
  • Retrieve Document: The official digital scorecard and certificate will be generated and displayed. Students can then download and save these documents to their device or directly into their DigiLocker account.

While the digital results are immediately available, students are typically advised to await the physical mark sheets that will be distributed by their respective schools at a later date. The integration of GSEB SSC results into DigiLocker aligns with broader national efforts to digitize public services and promote paperless governance, enhancing convenience and efficiency for millions of students across the state. This move is expected to become a standard procedure for future examination results, further solidifying the role of digital platforms in India's education ecosystem.
