Panacea Biotec, an Indian firm, has completed its Phase-2 clinical trials for a dengue vaccine candidate. Concurrently, the Serum Institute of India (SII) is also advancing its own dengue vaccine candidate. Globally, Takeda Pharmaceutical's Qdenga vaccine has already received approvals in several countries, including those in Europe and parts of Asia. However, Qdenga has not yet been approved for use in India.
