The re-test was conducted on Sunday, June 23, 2024, for 1,563 candidates who had previously been awarded grace marks in the initial NEET-UG 2024 examination held on May 5. This decision followed a directive from the Supreme Court, which mandated the cancellation of grace marks for these candidates, offering them the option to either retake the examination or have their original scores without grace marks considered. The NTA emphasized that the re-examination was conducted smoothly and securely across 7 centers nationwide.
